Chardonnay 2021
Citrus and delicate temperate fruit aromas swirl from the glass. The crisp citrus and delicate skin tannins
create a lingering dry tasting experience. The grapes were harvested early morning and fermented
cold to best retain grapes flavours.

This wine is made from cool picked Shiraz grapes and fermented cold to retain aromatic raspberry and
berry characters. It has a refreshingly long crisp finish ideally chilled and as an accompaniment to
Queensland’s alfresco dining scene.

Reserve Shiraz 2020
The Shiraz grapes crushed to make this wine are displaying plum and dark cherry aromas which meld
with the weighty skin tannin structure of the palate. The late season harvest contributes to a rich full
bodied palate flavour experience.

Saperavi 2025
Saperavi grapes make the reddest of all red wines. They are unique in having red flesh and red skins.
Originating near the Black Sea, the Kominos Saperavi vines are showing a special affinity for the granitic
soils and high altitude of Kominos Wines’ vineyards at 800m above sea level. Chocolate and rich berry
aromas on the nose extend onto the palate to give a rounded mouth filling tasting experience with
berries and tannins intertwining. Saperavi is being haled as a Noble variety in the wine world.

Rare Aged Wine List
These aged wines are bottle aged under cork . There is some variation in corks
Which provides each wine with a unique signature. They all display rich development in
bottle and are a unique presentation.
Chardonnay 2004 (bottled aged, oak matured)
Tropical and pineapple aromas mingle with bottle age bouquets and hints of vanillan oak. The palate is
rounded with lingering sweetness. The fruit flavours are rich with subtle tannins on the palate. Skin contact
in the press after crushing, released fruit flavours and tannins and lowered the wines acidity. This wine is
testimony to the longevity and to the intensity of aged wines from this blossoming sub region. 22 years of age!!

Chardonnay 2005 (bottled aged unwooded)
Bottle age aromas of hazelnuts mingle with ripe tropical fruit aromas of custard Apple, guava and hazlenut.
24 hours of skin contact in the press released an array of aromas and skin tannins to sustain bottle ageing for
20 years. Long skin contact lowered the wines acidity. This wine was untypically at the time not aged in oak and
bottled in 2005. 21 years old!!

Semillon 2002
Semillon grapes were picked at full ripeness with a hint of botrytis. Honeydew, pineapple and yellow box
honey flavours envelope the palate which finishes with lemon rind acidity. As it has aged in bottle, the w
has developed a rich mouth flling combination of flavours.
